RESOURCES FENG SHUI & MODERN SCIENCE
Modern science tells us that there is a lot more going on than the eye can see. We understand that the moon attracts the worlds oceans to create the tides and that the gentle forces of the wind and water can move mountains. As we have become more sophisticated, we understand how birds, fish and other animals use electromagnetic energy for navigation. Scientists study multi-spectral satellite images of plants and crops to estimate yields and detect plant diseases long before they are visible on the ground. Geologists use the same technology to study the earth for mineral and oil deposits. In these and many other ways, modern science has made the invisible world an essential part of our daily life. Feng Shui is the study of how the earths energy (or Qi) effect human beings through their physical environment. It may be many years or decades before we fully understand the science of how Feng Shui really works. In the meantime, there are hundreds of million of people who intuitively believe that the energies in our environment can have a significant impact on our health and well being. As our knowledge and understanding of the earths energy grows, perhaps the connections between modern science and ancient practices will someday merge to yield a more harmonious, healthy and happy planet.
